Working Together

Service Offerings

What I offer is partnership in building Indigenous equity and belonging, including advancing cultural safety and pathways toward decolonization.

My approach is wholistic,  balancing (un)learning with systems change, to ensure both process and change are value-rooted, meaningful, and sustainable.

I partner with communities, organizations, and leaders who are committed to change but need support for the next stage of their journey.

Together, we will co-create systems and practices that support Indigenous cultural safety, strengthen equity and belonging, and advance decolonizing. This work is led with the intention of benefiting Indigenous Peoples now and for generations to come.

Systemic Consulting

  • Policy Review
  • Organizational Assessments
  • Systems Transformation
  • Project-Specific Support

Relational (Un)Learning Workshops

  • Cultural Safety & Humility: Building the foundational capacity to work respectfully with Indigenous people.

  •  Truth & Reconciliation : Moving through and beyond awareness towards tangible actions that are for the benefit of Indigenous Peoples. This begins with recognizing that  'reconciliation'  is the not the right word for healing forward.

  • Decolonizing & Indigenizing: Recognizing, naming, and actively responding to colonial structures and systems within ourselves and our communities.

  •  Customized Learning: Tailored sessions to meet your team’s specific stage of the journey.

Public Speaking

  •  Conference Keynote Presentations
  • Guest Speaking for Organizational Events
  • Post-Secondary Classroom Dialogues
  • Professional Development (Un)Learning Dialogues

A Wholistic & Circular Approach

This work is embodied and ever-evolving. If your organization has an idea that extends beyond these descriptions, I welcome the conversation. I am happy to collaborate on new projects or, if your needs fall outside my scope, refer you to community members who may be better suited for the work ahead. Contact me at: jalissaschmidt@cedarbridges.ca.

Financial Investment

Every project is unique, and I believe pricing should reflect the specific needs of your team, community, and/or organization.

  • Consulting: Typically structured as an hourly rate to allow for flexibility as our work evolves.
  • Workshops & Presentations: Typically offered as a flat-rate based on the session length and the number of participants.

Specific hourly rates and project quotes are offered upon request. Requests can be made using the direct messaging platform below and/or by emailing jalissaschmidt@cedarbridges.ca.

A Note on Accountability & Accessibility:

I structure my pricing to ensure reconciliation funds are used thoughtfully—supporting learning that is meaningful and respects Indigenous communities.

In decolonizing business, I believe in navigating financial barriers in a relational way that honors the spirit and intention of this work. If finances are a barrier for your organization, please still reach out. I am always open to a conversation about how we can make this important work accessible while honoring the value of the knowledge and practice.

And as an act of reciprocity, I also offer specialized rates for Indigenous communities and community-centered non-profits.

Let's Start a Conversation

To help us begin a wholistic planning process, please share a bit about your vision and needs:

Consulting Requests:

  • Brief description of consulting project
  • A roughly estimated time commitment
  • A note about the intended impact of the project

Speaking Engagements, Workshops, and Training Requests

  • Brief description of the event/idea
  • Roughly estimated number of participants
  • Estimated length of event, if known
  • Preferred Date/Time/Location of event (if applicable)

Don't have these details, but want to connect? Share a few dates and times that you're available and we can schedule a virtual coffee chat.

From these details, I will follow up to begin a conversation about how we can collaborate and/or co-create a wholistic project proposal together.
