A heartfelt sharing of the foundations of Truth and Reconciliation. This includes discussing colonization, the experiences of Indigenous Peoples, and actions of reconciliation that meaningfully impact Indigenous communities.

This workshop is dedicated to discussing the foundations of territory acknowledgements - when, why, and how they are offered. Along, with providing tools to support following through on the commitment being made.

Together, we will discuss the foundations of creating culturally humble, safe, and inclusive spaces for Indigenous Peoples. Let's talk about policies, practices, and accountability pathways towards positive change.
Designed to support all organizations in walking meaningful paths of reconciliation.

This conversation is all about getting deeper. Let's talk more about what meaningful Truth and Reconciliation looks like by acknowledging on-going colonization and the meaningful changes we can make for the benefit of Indigenous Peoples.

Colonial systems were not just built without Indigenous Peoples, they were built to remove us. So, let's talk about re-building systems in a way that centers Indigenous Peoples, values, and ways of being. Let's unpack colonial terminology, practices, and beliefs in our spaces to build a culture that is inclusive of Indigenous Peoples. Let's build Indigenous advocacy into the framework of our systems.

A celebration of Indigenous diversity and the 'Heart Values' that connect our worldviews together. Engaging with Indigenous ways of knowing and being is essential to the Truth and Reconciliation - they are the 'framework' for meaningfully engaging with the Truth & Reconciliation process.
